100 Day Studio: Amandeep Singh Kalra reads from 'The Battle for Home' by Marwa Al-Sabouni.

Day 94 of the 100 Day Studio: Amandeep Singh Kalra is a London-based Associate Architect at Befirst, where he enjoys working at the intersection of public and private practice to deliver thoughtfully designed homes for Barking. He has mentored students through the RIBA, served as a guest critic at Kingston University and is currently one of the Young Trustees of the Architecture Foundation. Amandeep grew up in council housing where his passion for social housing was sparked. He believes that good quality, affordability and sustainability can and should co-exist and is always interested in exploring new approaches to design that consider all of these. The reading forms part of Bedtime Stories, a series of nightly broadcasts on Instagram curated by Alicia Pivaro.
