He illustrates his argument with projects including the Reebok Flagship Store in Shanghai (2003), a residence for a fashion designer outside London (2005), the IWI Orthodonics clinic in Tokyo (2010), a library in Karachi (2003-4), two 2004 tower projects in Dubai, residential tower projects for Manhattan and Seoul, and the Wall of the Future exhibited at MOMA (2009).
