Ali Rahim begins discussing the work of his office–Contemporary Architecture Practice (CAP) with Hina Jamelle–by stressing the importance of technique. He illustrates his argument with projects including the Reebok Flagship Store in Shanghai (2003), a residence for a fashion designer outside London (2005), the IWI Orthodonics clinic in Tokyo (2010), a library in Karachi (2003-4), two 2004 tower projects in Dubai, residential tower projects for Manhattan and Seoul, and the Wall of the Future exhibited at MOMA (2009).
