Dick van Gameren traces the connections between Diocletian’s Palace, the Adelphi
and the Barbican, visiting the Zaanhof Amsterdam, Rabenhof Vienna, the CIAM conferences, and finally the more recent Funenpark Amsterdam.

Dick van Gameren is Professor of housing design and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.
The presentation is based on the book ‘Housing Atlas. Europe 20th Century’.
