When it comes to colour in logo design, there are so many options to choose from.
For me one of the hardest challenges in logo design is colour, and deciding on the exact colour to use.
Over the years of designing logos I have developed a system that helps me narrow it down.
So when it comes to thinking about colour for my logo design, I typically undertake 4 Tasks:
1 – Consider Colour
2 – Sample Colour
3 – Apply Colour
4 – Perfect Colour
In the last video we looked at applying some initial colour ideas from the samples we picked based on our previous colour consideration criteria.
In the early stages of my logo development, I will always explore a variety of ways I could potentially colour a logo.
When I decide on a particular area I will then look to focus on that and perfect the colors ready to present to the client
So in this video, I am going to demonstrate the last task, rask 4, where we are going to perfect the colours of our logo design ready to present to the client
So let’s get into it!
