In todays video I explain 3 ways that designers and marketing agencies control your mind, spending habits and decision making in general. Most people most likely don’t consider these matters, but it is how society functions and how designers can direct the consumer into a certain direction.
As a graphic designer, it is always a great idea to keep such ideas in mind and to try and apply them to your workflow. Yes these are seen mainly in the advertising and marketing world, but they can be applied elsewhere too.
Which of the 3 marketing tips or techniques did you find most interesting? Was it FOMO, nostalgia, or maybe it was branding in general. These techniques are applied by designers, branding agencies, marketing companies, and other entities, all so that they can sell products to you the end consumer.
